The German Giant, Gunter Schlierkamp, takes the stage at the 2010 Washington Ironman. Having been away from the competitive stage for 6 years, Gunter is making a comeback, hoping for an invite to the 2011 Arnold Classic. 

Gunter has an impressive resume, with several Top 5 Mr. Olympia finishes. One of Gunter's most notable victories, came in 2002. Gunter placed 5th at the Mr. Olympia, won by Ronnie Coleman. 3 weeks later out-muscled Ronnie to win the GNC Show of Strength.

Always a crowd favorite, we look very forward to having Gunter on the Ironman stage.
