Round 2 – Two-Piece Swimsuit Round (1/3 score for Fitness) Figure & Fitness Women: Contestants will be brought out in one or more lines for quarter turns. The judges will be scoring symmetry, conditioning and overall appearance including complexion, poise and overall presentation. NPC Bikini, Bikini Masters Fit Body & Men’s Physique Divisions:

Men’s Physique is a new division for men that is similar to a male model search division with the men wearing board shorts. Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity will be marked down. Contestants will be asked to walk in board shorts (no spandex and no logos are permitted on the board shorts however a manufacturer’s logo such as Nike symbol or Billabongs are acceptable.) Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience. Competitors will walk to the center of the stage alone and perform quarter (1/4) turns with optional pose of hand on hip or hand in pocket, face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage.

Women’s Bikini: Suit bottoms must be in good taste. Bikini competitors should bring two suits if unsure about your suit because suits cut too low in the front or not providing enough coverage in the rear will be disqualified. In Washington State we don’t allow the Bikini “Motorcycle” pose. This is a pose that is done with your back facing the audience with legs straight in a straddle position and glutes sticking out to show the boot-tay and “hoo-ha” as if straddling a motorcycle. When facing the back and legs are in a straddle position weight must be on the right or left hip or you can have the legs crossed. Feel free to call or email us with your questions or concern about this. We will also go over this in the athletes meeting. Please keep in mind your parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters are in the audience!

Women’s Physique: A new division that will be judged on symmetry, shape, proportion, muscle tone, poise, and beauty flow. The following words can be helpful to assess what should NOT be descriptive to Women’s Physique: ripped, shredded, peeled, striated, dry, diced, vascular, grainy, massive, thick. Excessive muscularity will be scored down accordingly. It is the standard between Women’s Figure and Women’s Bodybuilding. Posing consists of ¼ turns and mandatory poses: front double biceps (no flat footed full front pose – some sort of front twisting pose, side chest with arms extended, back double arm biceps, side triceps with leg extended and front ab/thigh – all poses must be executed with open hands *no fists (closed hands). Barefoot – no heels. Finals routines are 60 seconds in length performed in the evening. Costumes and Props are permitted as long as the props can be carried by the competitor on and off stage. If time dictates, only the top 5 will perform their routines but everyone will be introduced and hit a few poses. We are starting out with one class and will divide this division up into height classes depending on how many competitors and their heights. We want to make each class as even as possible.

Men and Women Bodybuilders: ¼ turns, Mandatories: Front double biceps, front lat spread, side chest (your favorite side), rear double biceps, rear lat spread, side tricep and abdominal/thigh (hands behind your head with one leg extended forward). Free posing routines are 60 seconds in length. Costumes and Props are permitted as long as the props can be carried by the competitor on and off stage. Moon poses are not allowed. If time dictates, only the top five in each class will perform their routines at the finals but everyone will be introduced and hit a few poses. Women Bodybuilders have just one class at this time and will be divided up depending upon how many competitors entered and their weights. We want to make each class as even as possible.

Tanning Services: NWCC are the official professional tanning artists that will be at the 2012 Emerald Cup and that we endorse. They have an expert staff to help you with all of your tanning needs. They use the tanning products that are specially formulated for the stage and our lighting. Here is what they say, "NWCC Tan has online reservations, pick the time that fits your schedule! Fees are $100.00 and payable at your session. Fees include touchup and glazing at both the prejudging and the night show. We use Jan Tana products exclusively and will apply as many coats as needed to get you stage ready for the same fee. Free skin prep package if reservation is made more than 12 days prior to event. Online: www.nwcctan.com, text or call 360-791-3558 with questions or concerns." We suggest you make your appointment as soon as possible to reserve the tanning time you would like. For the Women: One of the many extras you will be treated to at a Craig Productions event is complimentary make-up artist/artists services. Our goal is for you to feel as though you have been treated like a queen and that you have the best competition experience possible. We are excited to have highly acclaimed make-up artist Marisa Carew and her team back for the 2012 Emerald Cup.  Marisa is an expert in pageant & stage makeup and we are very fortunate to have her helping us.  She is the one celebrities call when they want to look their best.  Marisa and her team will be providing basic make up for all women competitors complimentary from Craig Productions.  She will be available Friday for the Fitness/Figure prejudging and night show and Saturday Women's Bodybuilding & Physique prejudging and Women’s Bikini.  In order to be able to service everyone, she asks that you have your foundation applied in advance.  Mac Makeup Foundation NW 45 blends perfectly with the body spray tan color.  She would prefer if you don’t add any color to your cheeks or eyelids, or add any shading, please leave that to her expertise.  She can do your full face makeup or just your eyes or touch up what you have done. If you would like her to provide you with lashes and application it is $20.00. You do not need to schedule an appointment. She & her team will be able to get to everyone – she is that good! She has been with us at every show for the past 5 years. Her availability times are from 8:30am – 12:30pm Friday day, 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday evening (for make-up touch ups), 9:00am - 12:00pm Saturday or to direct any questions to her, please email her at marisacarew@hotmail.com Friend her on Facebook.

**It is nice if you will allow her to provide your lashes and application for the $20.00 fee so we can entice her to keep coming back to our shows! - this is only a suggestion and it is purely optional!

Stage Presentation:

Figure and Fitness Women: Friday the stage will be set with a 16’ catwalk/runway. The catwalk is only for the evening show. For the Prejudging, you will file out in your line-ups. The head judge will quarter turn you then call out comparisons. For the evening show, you will have the opportunity to walk the catwalk, so make sure to practice your walk!! You will hit a pose at the top of the catwalk, walk down the catwalk, hit a pose at the end, turn around, hit a pose midway back, then go into your lineup. The MC will then bring you forward in the line-up and quarter turn you.

The Bikini Women & Physique Men will take the stage on Saturday at noon. A whole show is specifically built around your judging and finals/awards. Prejudging: Bikini: ½ turns and walk the stage towards the curtain and back then comparisons. Physique Men: ¼ turns in your line-ups and then comparisons. The finals will resemble a clothes hanger: You will come out individually and walk to the stage left X, then stage right to the X, then you will go into the lineup. This is done to present you at your best and the audience loves it. It is your time to hit your favorite poses that make you look your best. Once you are in the lineup the MC will bring you all forward and ¼ turn Physique Men or ½ turn Bikini women (bikini will walk towards the curtain and back) for the audience. The expeditors will go over this with you before you go on stage but we like to give you advance notice. All of this information will be gone over with you at check in and your competitor meeting. We reserve the right to change this at any time.

Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Physique will appear on stage at 2 different times on Saturday. Prejudging starts at 10:00am: In order: Master’s Men (Over 70, 60, 50, 40), Masters Women Over 50 & 35, Junior Men, New Women’s Physique, Mixed Pairs, Open Women (Bodybuilding), Open Men (Bantam, Light, Middle, Light-Heavy, Heavy and Super-Heavy).
